The leading cause of childhood sightloss is amblyopia or more commonly known as lazy eye. With such simple treatment available for Amblyopia for children and its effectiveness diminishing following the age of 8, detecting the condition early is what still causes such a high prevalence of cases around the world. At AmblyAware we provide a sustainable, recyclable, Amblyopia detection kit to parents of young children so that treatment can work as effectively as possible.

School Screening

AmblyAware can be used in all schools at nursery age in order to screen for amblyopia. The easy to use items can be used by teachers and interpreted simply with our information leaflet.

Clinical Screening

When visiting a healthcare professional they will be able to quickly and easily test your child for Amblyopia and interpret the results to give you peace of mind.

Home Screening

With an information leaflet to help, the items within the Amblyopia detection kit are so easy to use, that you can screen your children's vision int he comfort of your own home or wherever they feel comfortable.

How does AmblyAware help?

Amblyopia can sometimes present with no visible features that something may be wrong and traditional eye test screening sometimes does not pick up on amblyopia. The Amblyopia detection kit allows parents, schools and professionals to test children if they have a dominant eye using sustainable products.

At the age of 8, the damage caused to the amblyopic eye cannot be reversed, and could lead to blindness in that eye. Early detection using AmblyAware allows children to receive the care they need!
